What's the advantage of Foscam P2P camera?

P2P(Plug & Play) allows remote computers (for example, computers on the Internet) to connect IP Camera within a private local-area network (LAN), without any settings on the router.

Before P2P, we use DDNS to do this, but user need to set Port Forwarding or Port Mapping on the router to make DDNS work, since the setting of user interface for different brand router is different, this setting could be very difficult.

However, with P2P, you don't need to do that anymore. You just need to download and install Foscam APP, scan the QR code on the camera, and follow the Setup Wizard to add camera step by step, it's really plug and play!
